The team is a current member of Meeting Events Australia (MEA) and theProfessional Conference Organisers Association (PCO). With two team members current accredited members of MEA and Certified Event Managers with the PCO Association.

The team has received the award for:

    (2015, 2014 and 2013) 
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Education Award for In-house Meetings Members
    (2015 and 2014)  

We can offer you:

Nadine Giatras

Division Manager  |  Nadine established the ASHM Sponsorship, Conference and Events Division in 2002 and has overseen its growth ever since. Nadine is an accredited meetings manager with a double honours degree in Commerce & Manufacturing Engineering and over 13 years' professional experience, including four years as an Event Manager with a leading Australian PCO. Over this period Nadine has played an integral part in the organisation of more than 60 major conferences and events.



Nicole Robertson

Programs Manager  |  Nicole has extensive experience working in conferences and events with a number of companies and has worked for ASHM since 2003. Nicole's role has evolved from Conference Coordinator to Operations Manager and she is now responsible for overseeing the successful completion of all our conferences. Nicole is an Accredited In-house Meetings Manager with Meetings Events Australia (MEA) and Certified Event Manager with the PCO Association.  ​




Amanda Burg

Operations Manager  |  Amanda has over 11 years' experience in events management, with a speciality in delivering large scale events, conferences and exhibitions on a national platform. Amanda developed her experience working across a number of sectors including corporate, government and not-for-profit. Amanda's passion lies in the challenge of developing teams and support infrastructures, implementing effective processes and building strong team cultures. Amanda joined ASHM in March 2012.




Rini Das

Project Officer  |  Rini started her career with the Hospitality industry, working in luxurious hotels in India. She then moved to the events sector working for a media conglomerate. Rini has had a long accomplished career ​and is very proud and passionate to be a part of a not-for-profit sector. ​





Amy Sargent

Project Officer  |  Amy began her career in events as an events assistant for Alzheimer's Australia NSW. She has also worked for Epilepsy Action Australia and At The Ark. Amy has a BA (hons) degree in Philosophy with Communications and Society.





Samantha Williamson

Project Officer​  |  Samantha completed her Diploma in Events Management in 2013 and has since had experience in many different types of events. She is passionate about the industry and is looking forward to starting her career in the not-for-profit sector.





​Eve Lippmann

Project Support Officer​ | Eve completed her studies in event management, psychology and has a particular interest on not for profit and community development organisations. Eve brings a variety of corporate administration and events coordination experience and is pleased to contribute to ASHM and the not for profit sector.





​Natalie Huska​

Project Support Officer  |  Natalie completed her Commerce and Event Management Degree in 2014. She also recently completed a Business Administration Course and has over 6 years of customer service experience. Natalie is passionate about Events and is excited to be starting her career in the not-for-profit sector.​




Emma Williams

Registration and Administration Assistant  |  Emma completed a Certificate of Business Administration in 2012 and brings over 5 years of administrative experience into the role. Emma has a passion for events management and is keen to learn more about the HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health industry.





Liagh Manicom

Project Support Officer​  |  Liagh obtained her Bachelor of Social Work in 2015 and a Diploma of Events Management in 2017. During her studies Liagh interned at the Lowy Institute, where she worked on large and small-scale events as an Events Intern. Liagh is excited to be working for ASHM, where she will be able to combine her interests of community health and events management.
